Greetings! I have been assigned a complicated task with our new ISA Server 2006. I really could use your brain. Right now I've been asked to see if ISA 2006 can resolve a dilemma involving Outlook Web Access and the Citrix Presentation Server 4 web interface. I have my doubts, but it never hurts to ask. Incoming OWA (port 443) comes in via intranet.domain.com and Citrix (also port 443) comes in on access.domain.com. Right now traffic is seperated by coming in on two separate pipes. The powers-at-be in my company are interested in knowing if traffic can be directed (consolidated) to one pipe and let ISA 2006, in turn, redirect the OWA and Citrix traffic to their proper servers. OWA currently uses ISA's Forms-Based Authentication feature at the moment. I've not begun working on integrating Citrix with ISA, as I'm not quite sure how to attack this (read: how to correctly set up ISA to work with Citrix in this fashion). Ultimately, it boils down to this: if ISA 2006 can accommodate my company's needs I'd like to see if anyone can provide explicit steps to bring everything together nicely. How's that for a loaded question? I thank you kindly. Todd

Indeed Citrix's eval software is for customers only. Didn't realize that until you mentioned that, Tom. I've never had any issues getting Citrix eval software, but my employer is a customer. What a bunch of crap. Well at least they offer it for customers so we can test out new versions without deploying them. todjk: You'll need two public IP's because you have SSL on both and I'm assuming dedicated certificates for each. Also I don't believe you'll be able to use forms authentication with Citrix. Haven't actually tried publishing the PS4 web interface, so I'm not 100% sure. It should work just like publishing any HTTPS site, check information on publishing generic HTTPS sites and it should fully apply to PS4's web interface.

cbuechler, Are you using Citrix Secure Gateway for the https connection (access.domain.com)? I would consider creating a separate external web interface and then going via ISA Regards, Mylo PS: Concur with the comments about evals/demos :-)

mylo: I require all Citrix users, web interface or otherwise, to VPN in first. No CSG or ISA involved. A bit of an extra hassle for the users, but remote access is very limited in this environment.
