OK - I have narrowed it down to some kind of access control problem with the server.

This is a new installation. Users can surf, get their mail etc.
Users can netmeeting other users behind and not behind a firewall. No one can netmeeting into this site, whether they are behind a firewall or not.

Users can messenger (exchange) other users logged into a remote exchange server. No one can messenger into this site whether they are behind a firewall or not.

Users can MSN other users with hotmail type accounts and receive responses back.

I have another setup just like this that does all of the above quite nicely, in and out, everything works!

I have spent the better part of two days comparing the configuration of these two units.

The only difference I can see is that the one that does work also has websites published and a public domain name etc, the other one does not.

Could that be the reason??
