Hi, I hope someone can help as I am pilling my hair out on this one.

I have been tring to configure OWA and Active sync on my ISA 2004 SP3 server back to my Exchange 2003 front end server, but I have come up agains a few issues.

As it stands at the moment I can access OWA via https://webmail.company.com/exchange but I have to type in the full URL for it to work. My Windows mobile phone will not connect at all. I have put this down to webmail.company.com not redirecting to /exchange. I have a 3rd party cert with thawte.com.

My question is How to set this up successfully, how to redirect the URL to /exchange and how to force http://webmail.company.com to https://webmail.company.com

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Chris

Hi Chris,

regarding the active sync:

active sync doesn´t work if you use the same listener as the owa fba listener in isa 2004.

you should implement this to get active sync working: http://www.isaserver.org/tutorials/2004pubowamobile.html

in my lab environment it worked fine, in the productive environment i am encountering an error becaus of the isapi-filter. see my post in a few minutes.

HTH,
André
