Well, I am not a fan of Microsoft products but I have to admit that ISA Server was pretty sweet other than the HARD TO FIGURE out policy creation... Anyway, decided to try out 2004 and the "look and feel" makes for nice eye candy but I am trying to dig deeper and I am noticing alot of little annoying things... Like how do you CONFIGURE Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, etc, etc under Dashboard under Connect Type... They ALL have STATUS - UNKOWN (Not Configured)... So where do I ***** configure it? I looked all around and seems no one posted this question up yet... Thanks...

Once you fully learn the interface you'll realize it's more than just eye candy. It's also a more efficient way of organizing things than the previous version.
On that screen you should also see a connectivity tab. On that tab, if you open the task pane, that bar on the right-hand side that slides out, you'll see a "create new connectivity" or something similar. Using that you can tell the ISA server where the DNS, DHCP, and Active directory servers, etc are.
