We need connecting VPN clients to have access to the internet while staying connected on the VPN to our network. We do not want them to connect to internet resources through the VPN.

We have a web server on another VPN located on 10.24.0.0 our network is 192.168.0.0. The only way I have found to access this resource currently is by physically looking up the client IP address on the connecting vpn client and doing a ROUTE ADD 10.0.0.0 mask 255.0.0.0 192.168.VPNClientIP.

Is there any way to have this route already setup when the client connects? If not is there an easier way to maybe create a script the client could click on upon connecting to add this route? The problem I am having is since the VPN client IP address changes with each connection i'm not sure how to create a script to grab this information.

Thanks in advance!

Why don't you want to enforce corporate security policy when the clients are connected to the corpnet? They are the same as internal clients in that respect, so corp Internet security policy should be applied to the VPN clients. To do otherwise is to subvert corporate security policy.

Tom
