Hi, I'm hoping this isn't your typical newbie post but here goes! I've just upgraded to ISA 2006 from 2004 and am trying to get the custom form sets feature working so I can provide custom logon forms for several sites. Hardly a show stopper but as I need to completely redo the old 2004 form after the upgrade I thought it would be nice. Anyway it seems whatever I do, ISA always hands out the standard form from the 'ISA' folder. This even applies to OWA despite it being set to use 'Exchange'! The custom form folders are configured at rule level, the listener is not configured for it. (When I have tried configuring the listener with a custom form folder name I get access denied errors?). I've been restarting the Firewall service after slightly ammending graphic files to work out which folder it uses. Anyway any help much appreciated. It surely must be something simple but I've gone through the technet doc 'Customizing HTML forms in ISA Server 2006' and no joy. Thanks in advance Chris S

Same problem here, ISA upgrade to 2006 Publishing rule for sharepoint 2007 and exchange 2003. When I use a custum form then an error is displayed when you request a site Error Code: 401 Unauthorized. The server requires authorization to fulfill the request. Access to the Web server is denied. Contact the server administrator. (12209)

Hi guys, sorry I should have posted back here with the solution, I could have sworn I did! Anyway, you need to have a seperate listener for each site (so seperate IPs). Then you need to enable custom forms with the relevant folder names on the listener. I have 4 sites but use just two listeners, so I can have OWA using the proper login page, with the other sites sharing the same generic page. I have them sharing because the sites link between each other and you can only use SSO if they share a listener. It comes down to a trade off between SSO versus nice tailored login pages for each site. Be nice in a future version if you could have SSO across listeners, but I'm really happy with the setup. If you get stuck post back and I'll try to help. Chris S

Hi, So when you were researching this did you run across any info as to why the option for custom forms exists on a per-rule basis? In all of the docs that I have run across, the option for custom forms is supposed to work on either a per-listener or a per-rule basis. This is the issue that I am running into now - I have been publishing OWA for some time over ISA 2006 but now need to add SharePoint v3. I wanted to use the same listener so I could provide SSO but the only way that I ever got the custom forms for OWA to work was to set the option on the listener, even though the option also exists at the rule level. Any ides as to why? Is the option at the rule level simply something that MSOFT left behind during beta testing? Thanks...
