My Server: Windows Server 2003 SP2 Programs installed on the server: ISA 2004, GFI Web Monitor, Bandwidth Splitter, Active Directory and DHCP. Server has 2 nics for wan and lan I googled and found the article http://www.microsoft.com/technet/isa/2004/plan/isaondhcpserver.mspx that instructed to create 2 different access rules for DHCP : 1. DHCP Reply - From Local Host to Internal, Protocol: DHCP (Reply) 2. DHCP Request - From Internal to Local Host, Protocol DHCP(Request) (Both of these rules are at top) My DHCP cannot properly work. It assigns IPs to client computers but I cannot see them in Address Leases. Also I cannot repair my Local Area Connection in any client computer. It gives an error message while attempting to Renew the IP. The wierd think is that in Address Leases it assigned 10 different IPs to the server itself (unique ID: RAS). And at the same time it assigns the same IPs to the client computers but as I said I cannot see those computers in address Leases. I have made 2 access rules (DHCP reply and DHCP request) in ISA in order to allow DHCP to work. At the beginning it used to work but not right now. It is not about in proper access rules. Because i disabled all of them and add just one rule along with DHCPs rules that allowed all protocols from entire All networks to All Networks but still couldnt solve the problem. Also I have a wirelss Access Point. I have configured it to use DHCP. But because DHCP doesnt work properly access point also cannot assign IPs to Computers connected to it. Please be descriptive in your answers because I have elemntary knowledge in LAN Administration and ISA 2004

I have almost the same issue- My Server: Windows SBS Server 2003 SP2 Premium , server runs : ISA 2004 std, as well as Active Directory, DNS and DHCP. Server has 2 nics for wan and lan I did create three rules 1. DHCP Reply - From Local Host to Internal, Protocol: DHCP (Reply) UDP 68 2. DHCP Request - From Internal to Local Host, Protocol DHCP(Request) UDP 67 3. DHCP Relay - From Local to DHCP servers, Protocol DHCP relay UDP 68 - send recieve. (All of these rules are at top) My DHCP cannot properly work. It NOT assigns IPs to client computers and I cannot see them in Address Leases. Also I cannot repair my Local Area Connection in any client computer. It gives an error message while attempting to Renew the IP. I have tried to do the same - add just one rule along with DHCPs rules that allowed all protocols from entire All networks to All Networks but still couldnt solve the problem. ~~~~~~~~PLEASE HELP~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
