Hi Guys, we have just migrated to a new webserver that is located on the DMZ, our old DMZWEB server was attached to the LAN and DMZ however was not a member of the domain. I now have a few issues with the new DMZWEB server that is not connected to the LAN like the old one.

Here are a list of the issues that are reported however I do not see any issues in tracert or ping commands.

1) Websites hosted on the new dmzweb server are slow internally
2) Websites hosted on the new dmzweb server are not available temprally then they work again
3) FTP sites hosted on the new dmzwebserver are unreachable at times

Our local DNS server has a host record that points to the external interface of the new dmzwebserver as it is not on the LAN,

I am very new to this can anyone help me out with this?

Hi ezeki,

Your using ISA 2004?  Can you diagram your network?  If you move the webserver to the internal lan, do the problems go away?

Happy to help

Mark
