I have the following setup -

Internet NIC:
-------------
IP: 24.222.1.1
MASK: 255.255.255.240
GATEWAY: 24.222.1.14
DNS: NONE

Internal NIC: (PART OF THE DOMAIN)
-------------
IP: 192.168.1.1
MASK: 255.255.255.0
GATEWAY: NONE
DNS: 192.168.1.12

DMZ NIC:
--------
IP: 172.16.0.1
MASK: 255.255.0.0
GATEWAY: NONE
DNS: NONE

I then plugged a wireless router into the DMZ card to see if I could setup a wireless network on it.
The router's info is:
IP: 172.16.0.2
Local IP: 172.16.1.1

(I was using 172.16.0.1 for client DNS)

I setup the network rules for DMZ<>LAN and DMZ > WAN. I also have temp. acces rules allowing DNS use from the DMZ>LAN and 'all access' from DMZ<>LAN. If I plug into the router and use the proxy:
172.16.0.1 I can get the internet.

The only thing that I can't get is the comunication from the the DMZ to the LAN and the other way around. I setup those 'all access' rules for testing and that won't even work.

Does anyone know what I might be missing here?

Hi W,

If you want to create a wireless DMZ, you want a WAP, not a wireless NAT device.

Is that what you're trying to accomplish? Check out the articles I did on creating a wireless DMZ for details.
