Hello everyone! I'm now scratching my head and wondering which road to take, and hope that I can get some good advice on this. I've been using ISA 2004 for a while now and I think it is just the best thing out there. I had a Sonicwall Pro 230 before but I've shelved that in favor of the ISA 2004 system, and I don't regret it. The problem I have now is that on our Internal network, we have placed a Polycom video conferencing system, and we want to use it to communicate between our office and main office. The Polycom system uses IP for this rather than ISDN since we wanted to make use of our existing infrastructure, and I wanted it behind the ISA 2004 for protection. Obviously, having it behind the ISA 2004 system was good in setup becuase I was able to see the communications that were failing and the settings I needed to change to get it working. The problem is that this doesn't seem very stable and more importantly, I can't seem to publish the Polycom unit through server publishing rules becuase port 1720 which is used to initiate a call seems to be used by the firewall service somewhere else, so I keep getting a bonding failure and the server publishing rule fails. Okay. I've read all the posts about using the old ISA 2000 Gatekeeper in conjunction with ISA 2004, but I figure there has to be a more simple way. Here is the current setup: INTERNET --> Router --> ISA 2004 --> Internal Network And here is what I'm considering. I'm leaning towards option 4, but am not certain about the reliability and security of the switch behind the router: Option 1. INTERNET --> Router --> ISA 2004 --> Internal Network | DMZ --> Polycom Unit Option 2. INTERNET --> Router --> Sonicwall --> ISA 2004 --> Internal Network | DMZ --> Polycom Unit Option 3 INTERNET --> Router --> Switch --> ISA 2004 --> Internal Network | Polycom Unit Option 4 INTERNET --> Router --> Switch --> ISA 2004 --> Internal Network | Sonicwall --> Polycom Unit Please, can anyone give me a good direction to go in?
