Hi Everyone,

I am new to this forums and have searched for a while for to find answers to my questions. I want to state first that I do not have extensive knowledge on ISA server.

We have an ISA 2006 Standard (not enterprise) configured as a web proxy, there is only one network interface card.

We are having problems with certain websites that do not like to be proxied. Is there a way to setup a few exception URLS in the proxy config so that these sites are accessed directly without going via the proxy service?

Thanks in advance.

Regards

Thanks for your prompt reply but this is not what I was looking for exactly.

Through group policy our internet explorer browsers are set to automatically detect the only proxy server we have on our internal network and we make use of a wpad.dat file that has code to bypass the proxy server for internal IP addresses in the range of 172.20.0.0 . This is working fine .

Since our network is designed to force the use of the proxy to access the internet, in other words if you do not configure a proxy in your browser you cannot navigate, my question relates on to how to create an exception list to access specific external websites that will traverse directly through the proxy without actually being proxied..

Thanks and regards
