We have ISA 2004 with SP3 now. When the problem started we had SP2 and we installed the KB916106 update installed that was supposed to fix this problem.
The symptoms are as follows:
We have a website that is accessible on HTTP but when there are certain options selected and the same website (www.subdomain.domain) changes the connection from HTTP to HTTPS than we receive the following error:
Network Access Message: The page cannot be displayed Technical Information (for Support personnel)
Error Code: 502 Proxy Error. The host was not found.(11001) IP Address: X.X.X.X Date: 8/16/2011 7:03:24 AM Server: proxy01 Source: proxy
The IP is the one form this ISA machine. The date is exactly 3h behind the date on this ISA machine. The Server (proxy01) is the name of this ISA machine.
The website request flow is being redirected to another ISA server through Web Chaining .
From a machine that is bypassing the first ISA and goes directly to the second one the website is working just fine.
Both the http and the https url's were added in the web-chaining (just in case).
The website is a fairly important one and the problem can not be ignored simply because the problem exists only for this one.
Can you please help us with this problem and suggest/provide a solution.
