Greetings

When running through our proxy server, clicking on the "Search" button on the IE toolbar causes an "error on page" response and a blank frame to appear (and it's blank...no nice "page cannot be displayed" problem).

Turn off the proxy on PCs that are allowed to access the internet directly and it's fine. Of course the majority of PCs have to run through the proxy to get to the internet.

Since Microsoft's search page uses some kind of clever dynamic DNS, setting an exception on the firewall is pointless as the IP address jumps around.

Any ideas what might cause this?

Using ISA Server 2000, std edition, on a Windows 2k server with SP 4. Have tried from IE6 and IE5.5 clients.
