Hello! I’m looking for some more expert advice. We have a company that runs a content proxy filter that our company subscribes to. How do I configure ISA to route all outgoing web traffic through an external web proxy server? Does that make sense? Thanks!

Hi

On the console tree chose networks then chose the folder web chaining, on last default rule right click then new, name it, next, click add chose networks then external, next then specify the connection to the remote proxy

Alright, that worked great. Thank you very much. Now, another question. [Smile] What is I want to have one or two computer that skip the proxy server and just connect straight to the internet? Thanks!

Hi again
Make the two computers Secure NAT clients and not web proxy clients
Give the two a static IP, create two computer objects under network objects, and put them in a computer set , and finally create one access rule for the computer set you just create. The objective of the computer set its just easing your administration when ever you need it.

Verify that you donĘt have firewall chaining rules (console tree ū general then firewall chaining)

Regards

So, this is the only way to do this? There isn't a way to make an exception?
