Hello all,

We have a customer publishing its FTP site (passive mode) on port 6667. Our ISA is at the edge of the DMZ / LAN zone; another Firewall (Nokia Firewall-1) is doing the DMZ / Public.

I configured my rule with the IRC protocol (since it is using port 6667) and the FTP Access filter turned ON. SecureNAT, anonymous to the FTP internet address.

During my FTP test, I can log in, change directory, logout... but I cannot list or upload / download... FTP returns the following errors: "Passive mode refused"; "List failed". Just to let you know, I have the exact same problem using IE, Firefox, Filezilla or NCFTP, on Windows or Linux...

In the DMZ zone, I have no problem. Any idea?

Thank you,

Xavier.

FYI

I just disabled the FTP access filter and added and quite wide primary connection port range (6000 to 7000) that I will narrow as soon as our customer is giving us their PASV data ports.

Cheers,

X.
