Does ISA 2006 use a different Firewall Client than ISA 2004 SP2?

If so, after installation, does the ISA 2006 FWC pop up the config dialog at every logon until the first restart, as the ISA2004 FWC does?

And the million-dollar question: If so, can this behavior be disabled?

Is there a way I can prevent users from being able to adjust/change the settings in the Firewall client?

check this :

quote:

Create a software restriction policy for the Fwcmgmt.exe and then set the enforcement properties to apply this restriction policy to all users except local administrators.
this will disable users acces to configure firewall client and also will hide the icon.
