Dear Tom,

That problem is sorted out. But I am facing another problem and let me discuss this with you. I have a domain controller which is Microsoft SBS 2003. It has 2 network interface one for the Local Area Network and another for the Internet Gateway or Proxy. Recently I have configured the domain newly and installed ISA 2004 for the internet service. Just after ISA 2004 installation my incoming/outgoing request stopped working. I couldn't even communicate with the Local Area Network. Then I have uninstall ISA 2004 everything started working fine but without that I cannot provide internet to my LAN users. I would like you to help me that how can I start my LAN users to communicate with domain and each other after installing the ISA 2004. What sort of security I have to apply to get it started at the beginning level. Onething I have understood that ISA 2004 is blocking the traffic so that users are not able to communicate with the domain...how can I sort this out please help me...

Best Regards,
Wahid

The wizard should have created this rule for you, but from what you describe it seems it didn't! Here is the rule that should fix the problem:

Name: SBS Protected Networks Access Rule

Action: Allow (no logging)
Protocols: All outbound traffic
From: All Protected Networks
To: All Protected Networks
Content Types: All
Schedule: Always
Users: All Users

Did you install ISA 2004 from the SBS SP1 disk set? Did you install SBS SP1 before installing ISA 2004? You can not use the standard ISA install disk set, you need to use the SBS specific set after installing SP1 in order to get the glue to make it work with SBS. Rerunning the CEICW should create that rule for you and if it does not, then something went wrong with the SP1 install and you are entitled to a free PSS call whenever a hotfix or SP breaks your system.
