Firewall Client, Win 2K and DHCP -

Enabling the firewall client on any DHCP enabled Windows 2000 workstation immediately prevents the workstation from leasing an IP address.
Disabling the firewall client fixes the issue, but defeats the purpose of loading the client in the first place.
Providing the Win2K workstation a static IP address will work just fine along with the Firewall Client.
Windows NT 4.0 DHCP enabled clients work just fine with the Firewall Client, so it's definitely something unique to Win2K workstations.

I've read about this problem before, but haven't seen it myself. I need to do more testing on this, but I would start by making sure all machines are upgraded to SP2, and that clients already have an IP address (obviously!) via DHCP before installing the Firewall client. Make sure the DNS/WINS/Gateway information is correct as well.
