I have one individual on our pure W2K network that requires a Macintosh. Since installing ISA she has not had access to Napster and AOL IM. Access to these has been given to my W2K users by configuring ISA and installing the firewall client. Is there an ISA firewall client for Macintosh? Does anyone know of a work around?
Thanks

Hi Bodean,

It really hurts me to help someone *enable* AIM and Napster! :P

Actually, I can't tell you too much about AIM, since I try to avoid it. Make sure Mac is configured as a SecureNAT client and make sure the AIM Protocol Rule is enabled. You might try configuring the AIM client software to use the Web Proxy service.

With Napster, you have to create the Protocol Definitions and a Protocol Rule that includes the Napster Protocol Definitions. Check out my book or search this site for the details.

HTH,
Tom
