We have a domain established in our organization, and the domain users can authenticate with the ISA server. However there are some users who want to use their personal laptops, connected to the network, to access the internet through the ISA server. As they are not logged on with their domain credentials, these are not submitted to the ISA server by the firewall client, and so their requests are unsuccessful. Is there a way to make the FWC submit different credentials to those of the logged on user?

You will need to mirror the local user accounts on the ISA Firewall

you can also go to

start \ control panel \ user accounts\ advanced \ manage passwords

add in the proxy server and a domain user / password to be used for IE.

this will allow non domain / local accounts to access the internet with the provided credentials
