If i enable firewall client authentication thought active directory, will i still get the user login and password windows ? In the web proxy listerner, i select authentication using integrated. When i enable firewall client, and enable user prompt and password in internet explorer, it still doesn't prompt me the login windows.Pls advise.

Hi,

are your clients joined to a domain ?

is ISA Server a domain memeber ?

If above questions were true, are the clients AND ISA joined to the same Domain.

If all the above is true, then yes the Firewall Client will take care of authentication.

Yes they are joined to domain and isa server is member server and they are in same domain. As we only have 1 domain. You mean when i login to domain, Fwc already established a session to isa server ? I can see in the log there are user name. But what is the use of the fwc user and password login windows if we can logged in active directory for authentication ?
