Hi,

Anyone have the experience to deploy ISA 2004 in multiple domain enviroment? I have 2 domains in the office, which is domain A and domain B on seperate network. The ISA 2004 has 3 nic, one  is connected to internet, one connected to Domain A network, the third interface is connected to Domain B network, ISA is a member server of Domain A. I have already configured Domain A trust Doman B, thinking to enable ISA to authenticate Domain B's users (Web proxy & Firewall client). Would this concept works?

Thanks..

Regards,
kwyap

As long as you have a trust between domains you should be good to go.  You can verify by creating a New User Set in ISA and add users or groups from both domains.

thanks for your replied, I have created a test lab. I found that the domain B's member unable to authenticate to Domain A's ISA, the domain B firewall client unable to autheticated message shown when i point the mouse curosor on the firewall client. But web proxy clients are able to be authenticated and browse the web. On the domain's B member's System log,

Source :LSASRP Event ID :40961 Description : The security system could not establish a secured connection with the server DomainA\ISA$. No authenthentication protocol was available.

What version of the MS Firewall client are you running?
What OS is running on the DomainB Member PC?
