I am having issues. I have a leased line, through Cisco router, attached to my ISA 2004 SP3 machine. A lot of websites are running slow. A couple are completely unaccessible. Some are absolutely fine. I have spoken to my ISP who said everything is fine on the router, so it must be my firewall. Hmm.... I have restarted the router and the FW, to no avail. The site i am having major issues with is www.bmsolutions.co.uk. I can't ping it, but i have been assured it is blocking ICMP connections. I can tracert, and it gets about 13 hops before timing out, but whenever i try to go to the site in IE or FF, i just get a timeout. Error Code 1460: Timeout Background: The gateway could not receive a timely response from the website you are trying to access, a DNS server, or another gateway server. This might indicate that the network is congested or that the website is experiencing technical difficulties. I have run nslookup, and i get this:- Non-authoritative answer: Name: www.bmsolutions.co.uk Address: 217.205.38.40 Any ideas what else i can try, or how i can prove that it is the ISP, and make them investigate further ?

Connect your laptop directly to your cisco router and try the above tests!

I get exactly the same on the cisco router. I'm talking to the ISP now, who are still saying everything is working fine from their end, even when they connect to my leased line router. How can they connect to the site from my router, but I can't ??

I experienced a similar issue with routing a few months ago, we could access any website but one (the website used to work but it stopped working hence we had to speak with the ISP), in the end I had to get my ISP to fix up their routing table, it turned out that the routing table for our public IP range got messed up.
