I have done two seperate installations of this combo now, and I cannot make the reporting work properly/completely for the life of me.   Is there anything special that needs to be done or that I should know?  The software is ISA 2006 and surfcontrol version 5.0.1.39.

Hi Adam,

What part of the reporting doesn't work?

Tom

The thing is it isn't recording data properly and I'm not sure why.  If I had to guess, I'd say it is only capturing about 30-40% of actual traffic, and some reports are empty entirely.  I contacted the surfcontrol support and they assured me that it was the ISA server not recording/logging properly since the SWF simply catches data from it....

I appreciate any help.

Hi Adam,

Ha! Nice to see the SurfControl guys pointing fingers at ISA because their software isn't designed correctly to work with the ISA firewall.

Make sure you configure your rules to require authenticationa and make sure all your clients are configured as Web  proxy clients.

HTH,
Tom
