Hi

I need to be able to redirect incoming HTTPS traffic based on the URL e.g https://www.myserver.com/987654321 to internal server on the standard HTTPS port. I then need to redirect https://www.myserver.com/7843219 to the same internal server but running another HTTPSserver on a different port e.g 444. Both HTTPS servers have their own certificate. The HTTPS server is a B2B java based system. Does anyone know if this is possible. Thanks

I've just read an article on http://blogs.technet.com/isablog/archive/2008/06/19/another-look-at-web-publishing-part-ii-host-headers-with-ssl-and-certificates.aspx which state that the url is encrypted so there's not much I can do. Unless anyone knows a work around.

If I understand correctly and the two ending parts of the URL are known and fixed, then you should be able to use two different rules with one pointing at the first server and the other pointing at the second server. For the second rule you would change the bridging to point to the alternate high port. The only trickiness may happen if the backend system does not exclusively use relative pathing for links and the link translation engine is not able to modify links correctly.
