hi All,

i want some web-sites are Used by user in particular time period after that site is blocked for 1 day.


mens if  1 user use yahoo.com he is able to use yahoo.com 10 minutes in a day. after 10 minutes yahoo.com is to be blocked for that day. next day again he can use yahoo.com for 10 minutes.


If any answer of my silly quetion.kindly Replay me .if any third party software is used with ISA 2006 for this Configuration tell me.

Hi,

this is a quite odd setup! Donīt know any tool which achieve what you want. If you want to control quotas instead of time, you can take a look at Bandwidth Splitter.

Hi, You could achieve this with a 3rd-party filtering solution.

Something along the lines of Websense or Futuresoft could do this. You can apply a time base quota and it allows you to specify a maximum time that someone can spend on a site (or category) over a 24 hour period. For example, you could say that no-one is allowed more than 30 minutes a day on facebook - a very popular scenario :) Once they have reached the thirty minute limit all access is denied until the next day.
