hi
i was using ISA 2004 EE with window 2003 server. My ISA Server name was ROOT and dns suffix was irc.cable.net and forward lookup zone was also irc.cable.net and ISA Array name was ROOT . my firewall clients and web proxy was running successful with server name 'ROOT' and port '8080' but now i have installed ISA 2006 SE with SP 1 with same dns and computer name setting and same ISA Array name but my client does not refresh with "ROOT" name and web proxy also does not work with ROOT name actually i have to give the ip of ROOT or complete ISA Server name as 'ROOT.irc.cable.net' . what is the problem and how can i solve this porblem .. please reply me .. thank you

Hi,

this sounds like DNS problem. Clear the cache of your clients and check if the DNS server is ponting to the correct IP address.
