Hi All,

I am trying to setup ISA Server 2004 (single NIC ) as a Reverse Proxy for publishing multiple domain and multiple website with single IP address . I have done this in squid however due to some challenges i am shiting this architechture to ISA . This is my senario .

I have to publish these website basically 2 ways
1. Internet (https) -> ISA 2004 -> Webserver ( http)
2. Internet (https) -> ISA 2004 -> Webserver (https)

All the website are resolved back to single IP address of ISA on Internet , using split DNS where Internel and External DNS are seperated and ISA is configured on Internal DNS where all the name resolution is happening properly .

Now the second chalange is to support multiple domain with Wildcard Certificate
*.domainA.com and *.domainB.com

The 3rd Challenge is with number of webserver . All the sites hosted in *.domainA.com have only one webserver at the back whereas in *.domainB.com i have 2 servers which i need to bind with single DNS name .

i.e. (Internet ) web.domainB.com (HTTPS) -> ISA 2004 -> 10.1.1.1 & 10.1.1.2 ( both the server will work in loadbalanced mode .)

Please let me know whether this is possible is or not .

hi,

From what i know you can't publish websites in ISA if you are using only 1 NIC. At least you need 2 NIC for this. Besides it wont be a firewall if it has only 1 NIC.

Cheers...
