Hi, I am running ISA Server 2006 with two NICs : one for Internal and the other for External network (Internet). ISA Server 2006 is configured as forward proxy server and also to publish Sharepoint sites. Everything is working fine. Workstations on the Internal network are configured as Web Proxy clients.

By default ISA proxy listens on port 8080 (enabled through Internal properties --> Web proxy-tab).

For testing purposes (check if internet access is working through different connections), I want  to configure ISA 2006 to use two different http-proxy ports (8080 and 8082), so that I can set up IE-browser (LAN settings / Proxy server) to use proxy port 8080 or 8082.  How should I configure ISA 2006 to achieve this ?

With Regards, Djaw.

Hi,

I think there´s no way to accomplish it.
Quick question: Why you want to do configure two ports? I mean, why you need that?

Hi and thanks for your comments.

By default Web proxy client's IE-browser is configured to use ISA2006 proxyserver : proxy1:8080 (LAN settings / Proxy server) through External NIC (to the Internet).

If  the above default Internet connection is not working, we would like to have the possibility to configure IE-browser to use another proxy-port (proxy1:8082), so that it can connect to the Internet through another route.

With Regards, Djaw.

Hi,
