Hi,

An automatic process runs every week that summarizes the .log files and creates MS-Access database compatible .ILS files. Once these files are created, the normal .log files are deleted. I am evaluating currently a product known as WebSpy for ISA Reporting. However, it only accepts the normal .log files created by ISA and it doesn't recognize the .ILS files.

Is there a way that I can convert the .ILS files back to .LOG files? I opened the .ILS file in MS-Access, but some files have a special field known as "Users List" and it contains text saying "Long Binary Data" this field is a problem creator and can not be displayed. I tried to migrate the database to Access 2000/2003 so that I can create a Form to view the contents but no success. I can write a simple program that will regenerate the .LOG files from the .ILS file, however, I need your help to see how can I view the contents of "Users List" column.

Aijaz,

The text log files are stored in .iis format, so there are no .log files. By default, they should not be deleted before the time you set for deleting them.
