Scenario:
I've implemented SSL on our ASP based application using SSL bridging in Web publishing. As per our requirement, I've foreced the 128 bit SSL connection.

Requirement:
Now I want the customize the ISA error which comes in when a user with less than 128 bit browser encryption tries to access that site. I want to display the URL or redirect the user to the MS page from where the user can download the High Encryption Pack for their browser. I didn't find the error page for 12212 in the errors directory.

The Error is:
The Page cannot be displayed
.....
.....

403 Forbidden - The page requires 128-bit encryption, an enhanced security mechanism. To view the page contents, use a browser that supports this enhanced encryption. (12212)

Note:
By default the ISA errors are stored in ..\ErrorHtmls directory in MS ISA Server folder after installation.

Any idea how can I customize the error or accomplish the same task?

Hey,

What you need to do is to create the page and save it in the ErrorHtmls directory. ISA will look in that directory for the specific page and if its not there will display the one you are seeing.

I added a 12202 one in there and it works very well.

Oh and don't forget to re-start the web proxy serice too [Cool]

thanks for the help. Was doing every thing right, was just missing the restart of web proxy service.

For some overview on ISA errors check this MS article:

Thanks to Jas. [Wink]
