I've successfully published www.domain.com but I can't get domain.com to work (going to same location as www.domain.com).    Are their pointers to how to do this?  Seems like it should be insanely easy, but this ISA Server...

Thanks

Would you want requests to the domain.com name to be redirected so the browser shows www.domain.com?  If so do you have ISA 2006? (I know, asked in a 2004 group but..)  With 2006 you can make a deny rule matching that host name, and tell it to redirect to the url www.domain.com

If you just want to accept requests for both domains and publish the contents under both, that *is* easy.. just set the public names tab accordingly.

If you want to redirect the exact path from http://domain.com/foo to show http://www.domain.com/foo (for all values of foo) then you can use WebDirect.

I just want http://www.domain.com and http://domain.com (same IP) to work on a ISA Server 2004 box.  I "swear" it used to work but at some point it stopped working.   When I try http://domain.com now, I get (I've hidden the IPs I' m using to test - source IP is outside of my domain).

It's got to be something straightforward if one works and the other falls all the way to your default rule.  Is there only one publishing rule that uses these public names?

And I assume dns is set right, with both names resolving to the same IP.

It's going to be tough to offer more help without seeing your isainfo.  99% of the time these things are caused by a bad assumption somewhere.. something you aren't thinking of looking at because it didn't occur to you it might be wrong/changed.

Best of luck.

I ended up doing a Micrsooft PSS call on this. To make a long story short, my Enterprise Networks - Internal Network wasn't specified but my Server level Internal Network was and this somehow prevented domain.com from working even though www.domain.com would work fine.
