In this security professional's view, IAG 2007 is shaping up to be yet another box amongst the (too) many security boxes that permeate the industry nowadays. ISA 2006 will NEVER be an mainstream edge device IMHO; the router (Cisco, Juniper) will eventually become the WAN security edge device. The switch will become the LAN security gateway. Where ISA 2006/IAG 2007 could serve well is in the perimeter (between the WAN and LAN gateways). Right now IAG 2007 must be bought as an OEM appliance along with ISA Server 2006; it would be of greater interest to both myself and my customers if we could add to our existing ISA 2006 installs. Hopefully this will be possible in the future. Looking forward to the Beverly Hills kickoff this week...
