dear all,
i want to understand this situation,
if i have my Internal Domain here with Active Directory. and we have Internal DNS server and this DNS server is configured to Forward the query to the DNS of the ISP.
and i do not have any users from the Internet connect from Outside to access my internal Network, i mean i do not have any Web Server or i do not have any Published exchange server in my network.
and all of my users are only communicate with the internet from inside to outside.
so, in this case , what i understood, on ISA server , no need at all to make any IP-Packet filter or Application Filter, because both of them are only need to configure if there is a users from the Internet and he needs to access the internal Network , or in general if there is a inbound traffic comeing from outside to insude the organization.
so is that correct or not ?
================================================= second thing:-
in my situation, i have only to configure the Prtocol Rule for ISA, in order to provide users from internal to external network .
is that correct ?
Please correct me if i was wrong ?
-------------------- thanks
