HELP!
due to political machinations I can do nothing about, I've been tasked with the following setup.(I'm the PIX administrator, only)
Internet | PIX(outer) | Cisco Content switch (1and2) | | ISA 1 and ISA 2 | | _____PIX (Inner)_____ | | Exchange 2003 FE (1and2) holding OWA | | (no firewall, here) Exchange 2003 BE (multiple/clustered
I'm probably going to have more trouble than I can deal with, but my initial question that I cant' seem to find out there is this:
For RPC over HTTP and OWA access, what ports must be open between the FE cluster and the ISA servers? SSL(443) only? I'm familiar with a FE in the DMZ, with BE's internal, but this design is nuts.....or is it?
NAT is not an issue, nor is a temp "all open" for cert enrollment, etc.
The ISA's are hardened appliances, not server 2k3 w/ISA2K4 on top of it.(Do they need domain membership?)
....help....I'm melting....
