Hi,

Have an issue on an SBS2003 box running ISA2000.
Clients on the network and the server itself cannot get to windows updates. Its says
Error 0x801901F6 which MS say is because of an non http compliant proxy, when its their own proxy. Any help appreciated.

Tristan

WU will work with ISA provided you create an anonymous rule for it.

Take a look at your WindowsUpdate.log to see what URL is erroring and then see if you have that URL in your destination set in the anonymous rule.

I have determined that the server cannot resolve www.microsoft.com. The router its attached to, can, but the server or client machines cannot.
