Publishing our SMTP gateways using the ISA 2004 Mail Publishing Wizard and everything works - email flows into the gateway etc.

However, I had to select "Requests appear to come from the ISA Server computer" to be able to get a response from the SMTP server from outside.

I am asking this in the 2006 forums, because I am migrating to 2006 (have them built and am transferring activities to the new load balanced 2006 ISA firewalls in order of importance) and need to know if anyone knows of a way I can publish these SMTP servers through ISA WITHOUT losing the IP of the original source.  This is critical in that our SMTP Gateways monitor SPAM/Virus activity by IP and have threshholds set to automatically block IP's from sending mail based on their behavior.  If my ISA server is ALWAYS the source of SPAM and Viruses, then these threshholds will get triggered and all mail will stop.

Thanks in advance for any help on this...
