I have 2 EE servers (one is my CSS and is SP3, the other is talking to the first and is SP2). Not a definite scenario as I will have all with SP3, but is opening a questioning process. Both are running W2K3 and are member servers.

When I create a web filter rule on the machine that is SP3, it can no longer "see" the traffic on SP2. Same problem happens if I apply the web filter to the SP2 machine, it can no longer see the traffic on SP3.

If no web filter are being applied and it's in "live" mode, both server are seing each others and they both process traffic.

Anyone encountered the same behaviour?

I've noticed that if the MMC is not pacthed with SP3 it wont show any logging for a non SP3 ISA Server, is that true in your environment?
