Hi Guys,
Figured I would ask to see if any of you guys have had this problem. I am an administrator that has to support serveral clients of various flavors.
I am currently running a full test enviroment with an AD domian, Windows Clients, Mac OSX and Mac Os9 and 8.
I have ISA 2004 beta installed at the head of the network on a Dell machine. Configureation went flawless and everything seemed t be rocking right along.
The issue I am running into is this. I was testing all different type of clients. On the Windows machines and the OSX machines, Secure Nat, Web proxy, and FW clients work great. No problems. (Less the FW client on OSX ofcourse) But anyway, no problems.
But the OS9 and OS8 clients, SecureNat would not work. Web Proxy would not work. I played around with them for a while, and got one of them working. Then all of them started working, but very slow. I gave it a while, and then none them worked. And at this time they still are not working but all the Windows and OSX clients still are just fine.
Any ideas guys? I am totaly dumbfounded. There is no reason that i can think of why a simple web proxy client or securenat could not work regardless of Operating System.
Thanks for any help!

Hi Tom,
Thanks for replying.
No I have no authentication setup for any of the clients. They are all allowed. Being this is a test lab and not prod. I just allowed all out and not authentication.
Thanks Chris

Hi Chris,
In the real-time monitoring console, does it show the connections being denied?
Thanks! Tom

Hi Tom,
No the connections are not being denied. They are there right along with its Windows and OSX couterparts.
Its still very strange. I have played around with them further and can get them working off and on. But for the most part they stay down.
The only errors that i have seen neing reported are that ISA is droping IP packets every now and then as well as entering a SYN mode.
No other real errors. And the Windows and OSX clients are still working flawless.
Thanks again for the reply!
Chris

Hi Chris,
Not sure if there will be another public beta. I'll post if I find out about one.
Thanks! Tom
