We are running ISA2004 and we are publishing our internal Sharepoint Services 3 Server.
All is working 100%, except for one small problem.

If you are outside our organisation, you can't create folders in Sharepoint. It returns a "File not found" error.

If you are inside our organisation, the same action works without any problem.

This leads me to believe that the problem relates to the way ISA server publishes the Sharepoint site.

Initially I figured it was related to the "high bit" blocking.. in the HTTP filter. Having switched it off.. I still get the same problem.

Any ideas would be really great !

Have you tried monitoring the ISA real-time logs when making the SharePoint change from outside. If you filter on the specific rule, this will help. Has SharePoint been properly configured with the correct Alternate Access Mappings?

Post back your results and details of your publishing rules if you are still having problems...
