Hello all,

I hope you will al excuse my ignorance but I am new to ISA 2004 and am not sure how to reconfigure my ISA box. We are running ISA Server 2004 sp3 on Windows 2003 r2 server with GFI Webmon.

We are changing our Data circiuts which obviously means our public (I presume the one assocaited with the "External network") IP address is changing as well.
Our config is pretty basic, only have a handful of rules like redirecting HTTP/s and FTP to two different internal servers and a basic VPN setup.

The problem is I do not know where / how to change the External in ISA to the new IP address and gateway. Does it automatically take this info from the "External" NIC and do I only change it there? Other than that I think I will have to change it on the other rules.

Ive seen no option to modify the properties on the external network icon.

Any help would be much appreciated. I did look for something similar on the forums already and did not find it.

You don't change the External network.

The External Network is automatically any address that is not defined in one of the other Network Definitions.

So you just change the TCP/IP Config of the External nic and you are done.

You may have to edit any Publishing Rules that you have.

Thank you for the response. We ended up doing that yesterady to test it out and it worked. Yes we did have to change the other policies as well. No we get to do it all over again this weekend for real.

I appreciate the response though. I am just glad to find a place for good info on ISA.
