Hi

I just installed isa 2004 std. sp3 on top of my sp2 installation.
The installation went on without any errors. I restarted the server and every communication works fine, but when I try to start the isa management console I get the following error message:
"MMC could not create the snap-in. The snap-in might not have been installed correctly. Microsoft IS Server 2004. CLSID {...}"
I'v tried to restart my server once more, with no luck.
When I try to open mmc (mmc 3.0) and add the ISA snap-in manually, MMC fails to initialize the msisa.msc

How may I fix this?

Is there anything in the event log? Is this Standard or Enterprise Edition? You could try applying the SP again, make sure the MMC is closed when you do so.

Try to reapply SP3 again as said before, if that didnt work, try to do a repair installation.

Control Panel > Add Remove program > ISA Server 2004 > click the change/remove button > then select repair > click next
