and I cant figure out how to do it.

where in the console do I go to open a port?

Hi KBig,

the designers of the ISA server have forgotten to implement the 'open port' buttom! So, you are out of luck... [Razz]

Now, what are you really trying to accomplish? If you tell us that we can help you.

Maybe we can create a VB-script that opens a port for you?

In that case you don't even have to open it yourself [Wink]

The script does it for you.

No, that's enuogh with the jokes. [Big Grin]

First: be avare of the "dangers" of opening "ports" in the Firewall ! [Eek!]

If yo're not sure of what you are doing, don't continue.

The closest you get to "open a port" is to create a "access rule".

HowToDoIt:
Right-click "Firewall Policy"
Create New Access Rule.
Fill in the information that you got...
What Rule name, port, direction, etc. etc...
