First - When you move your logfiles to another directory your will lose your old logfiles. You should have the option to move it to the new directory.

Second - Some errors occur when you move your logfiles. You are unable to logging before 'live' logging, so you cannort log "Last hour" or etc... It takes allot of effort to solve this.
