A lot of users complain about routing failures. The report go from Publishing rules, Web Chaining to DNS problems. There must be an improvement because it's taking a lot of time and effort for a lot of people, including me. It's pulling my brains out!

Hi WP, I never see them, except for the occasional spurious onces from VPN client connections. Can you give some examples of when those take place? Thanks! Tom

Hi Tom, I have two Array members, with 5 adapters each. Two are disabled for future Perimeter network, only think of three. - One External, one Internal and Intra-Array. - Both Internal and External network have NLB enabled. - No (Secure) Web Publishing - No VPN First *** When you enable CARP on Local Host, Internal and Intra-Array, you get these failures on a busy day *** I read one of your forums with another ISAserver.org member, that you should only enable CARP on the Intra-Array. That seems to be true, but in fact it is very confusing, because some documents tell you a different story. And when you read about Scheduled Download Microsoft advices to enable CARP on the (Internal and) Local Host network. For now I solved the problem by only enabling CARP on the Intra-Array network. I took me weeks to solve it! Second *** Some people have trouble with Web Publishing in combination with DNS that give these errors *** Boudewijn
