Hi,

We are using simpledns plus on our dmz behind ISA2006 as our inbound dns server.

To speed up things I tried to install windows cache only dns server for inboud requests on the isa server. This worked well and dns speed improved.

The problem is that a windows dns cache only server is not authorative for selected zones (in our case +10000 zones). Some registrars don’t like this.

Is there a way to cache dns requests and still act if the isa server is the authorative dns.server for selected zones?

Thanks,
Arthur
