When installing ISA 2004, should I keep the ISA server separate of my company domain or can it be a member on the domain? It's been awhile since I set up ISA2K and I vaguely remember that you shouldn't have your ISA server as part of the domain for security issues. Right now my ISA2K server is part of a workgroup, but it seems like it would be easier to manage users and access if it were part of the domain.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi 2004,

Yes, it would be a lot easier when you make it part of the domain. However, it does not need to be. One new thing is that you can use RADIUS authentication for Web Proxy client requests.

HTH,
Tom
