Internet Explorer cannot open up Internet Site Http://www.google.com Operaton aborted
This is the error my users are getting using IE 6-7 through ISA 2006 Enterprise, I do not get it through my DR ISA box nor do I get it with Firefox. I also dont get it bypassing ISA with my IE browser, Just IE6-7 Through ISA (Automatic Detect Setting or not) CIO just called me and wants an update, HELP!!

have you tried google.com with NSLOOKUP? Is your DNS is resolving the name or IP? i know google changes ip in seconds but i hope if you try any one of them once then it will start work again; also try to do ipconfig /flushdns and then ipconfig /registerdns on client machines where it's not working.
if won't work try on ISA server.

Should have been a little more clear, I can get to Google, after hitting refresh on the browser three times I get the error. Sometime I go right to google, then I hit refresh a couple times and get the error. I did the ipconfig /flushdns and register to no avail.

WebProxy, clients, One internal nic and one external nic. No other problems with other websites, just google. very weird stuff. firefox through ISA is fine. IE6-7 through ISA there is an issue. IE6-7 bypassing ISA no problems

Hi,
is your ISA External NIC configured with ip, mask and GW and de Internal NIC with ip, mask, no gw and dns?

On the client computer, open IE settings, Advanced, and make sure HTTP 1.1 Settings / Use HTTP 1.1 through Proxy Connections is enabled.
You'll probably want to force that on via GPO system-wide.

Does anyone know the reason to this? I know we never had this option checked with ISA2000, but when we went to 2006 we randomly get this error. Why is it random like that? I have to believe that there is a reason and/or a different fix.
