Hi all...... Im having a prob with my ISA server 2004... Intermittently (maybe every 20 mins) the server will just stop all traffic for around 20 sec.

We have 3 x Nics, one internal, one external, one 'DMZ'.... and all of our users are experiencing this 20 sec pause every so often....

We run SMTP Surfcontrol in the DMZ, and I also experience this same pause at the same time, where the Surfcontrol console just hangs, and then resumes.

It doesnt matter what website, or what you are doing, it all just pauses....

I have ran a ping session from the ISA to outside, and the ping doesnt miss a beat. So I presume it is the ISA server itself just hanging for a little bit.

Anyone have any idea why this would be the case?

Hi

I am having a similar problem with a ISA 2004 EE SP3 . Random pauses in both the fiewall and proxy, no event log error. All traffic stops but ping stays steady. Some connections stay alive but most drop. Both event viewer and ISA logs show nothing out of the ordinary.

We are not experincing it every 20 mins but frequent enough for it to be a problem.

Any help appreciated.
