I have two EE 2006 ISA servers configured to use a seperate network (Seperate network range and NIC) for Intray-Array communication.  I configured the Intra-Array network as a Perimeter network and not part of the Internal network.  I keep getting configuration errors under Alerts for the Intra-Array network ip address range.  Is this normal? or do I need to add the network range and make it part of the Internal network.

Thanks for your help

Hi CS,

Did you create an ISA Firewall Network for the intra-array network?

Thanks!
Tom

Thanks Mr.Shinder for your response, I keep waiting for your ISA 2006 book.

When I created the configuration for the intra-array network I followed exactly your configuration for EE setup in your configuring ISA Server 2004 book.  I configured a seperate network card and network subnet for the intray-array communications.  I assigned the seperate network as a perminter network.  Then I created an access rule that allowed complete communications between the ISA servers.  I don't remember creating an ISA Firewall Network for the intra-array, so I probably missed something.  What are the steps for completing this?

Thanks again for your help

Hi CS,

Click on the Networks node in the left pane of the console and click on the Networks tab in the middle pane. Is there an ISA Firewall Network for the intra-array network in there?

Thanks!
Tom

Hi CS,

The book is coming along! Hopefully will be done in Nov.

Have you checked out the ISA EE Getting Started Guide on the ms.com site? That would be a good place to start.

HTH,
Tom
